Well, as you may have noticed, I have not had many swaps lately so I have not been inspired to blog about it, or lack thereof, rather.
Last week, I joined http://www.listia.com (it’s sort of a one ended swap site, except you get the points and the highest bidder wins the auction- somewhat like e-bay) and so far, have earned five badges, and listed 45 items. Since I am new to the site, I am a newbie once again (we all gotta start somewhere). One can earn points by referring friends, promoting the website, bidding on items, leaving feedback on auctions, commenting on items/pages, etc. It’s pretty neat because you give up things in order to get things that you really want. You can also offer free shipping ( to attract more bidders) and do tiered auctions (if an auction goes over a certain bid amount, for every 100 points).
I heard about the website from some swappers on http://www.rehashclothes.com. To simplify, I used the same name that I use on all the swap sites and e-bay; hint, it’s the same name here too. Anyway, I’ve seen lots of neat things on http://www.listia.com, so wish me luck.
I plan on going to Trend Traders (similar to Plato’s Closet and Buffalo Exchange) soon (this week) with my clothing minus the ones that have bids. I also plan on going through my closet as part of Spring Cleaning, as we are going to have a joint yard sale sometime in the next month or so (posting that date and time on http://www.craigslist.org).
